Who we are

This website, tentacore.io, is operated by TentaCore Technologies, a brand of Red Multimedia Development, established in Roermond, the Netherlands and registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce (KvK) under number 77834364. We are the controller for the personal data described in this statement. You can reach us at info@tentacore.io.

Scope

This statement covers the tentacore.io website and the contact you have with us through it. When we work with you on a product, application or connected system, the processing of personal data in that engagement is governed by the agreement and, where applicable, the data processing agreement for that engagement.

What we process and why

When you contact us

If you email us or use the contact details on this site, we process the information you send us: typically your name, email address, organisation and the content of your message. We use it to respond to you, to assess whether and how we can work together and to prepare a proposal or agreement. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in handling enquiries and, where you are taking steps towards an agreement with us, the preparation of that agreement (GDPR article 6(1)(b) and 6(1)(f)).

When you visit the website

Our hosting provider records technical server logs for each request: the IP address, the requested page, the date and time, the referring page and browser and device information. We use these logs to keep the website secure and available and to detect abuse. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in running a secure website (GDPR article 6(1)(f)). Logs are retained for a maximum of 30 days.

Preferences stored in your browser

The website remembers your language and colour theme choice in your browser's local storage. These settings stay on your device and are not sent to us. They are strictly necessary to provide the setting you chose, so no consent is required. You can remove them at any time by clearing your browser data.

No cookies, no tracking

This website does not use cookies, analytics services, advertising networks, social media plug-ins or external fonts. We do not build profiles of visitors and we do not sell personal data.

Retention

We keep correspondence for as long as needed to handle your enquiry and for up to 24 months after our last contact, unless an engagement follows. Records that are part of an agreement or our administration are kept for the statutory retention period under Dutch law, which is seven years for administrative records.

Who receives your data

We do not share your personal data with third parties for their own purposes. We use a limited number of service providers who process data on our behalf and under our instructions: Google Cloud for hosting, with the website running in the Netherlands (europe-west4), and our email forwarding and mailbox providers for correspondence. We only disclose personal data to authorities when the law requires us to.

Where a provider processes data outside the European Economic Area, we rely on an adequacy decision of the European Commission or on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses, together with any additional measures that are appropriate.

Security

We protect personal data with technical and organisational measures appropriate to the risk, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls and hardened hosting infrastructure.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to its processing and to receive it in a portable format. Where processing is based on your consent, you can withdraw that consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.

To exercise these rights, email info@tentacore.io. We may ask you to verify your identity before we act on a request. We respond within one month. If you are not satisfied with how we handle your data, you can lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens) at autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl.

Children

This website is intended for professional use and is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

Changes to this statement

We may update this statement when our website, services or legal obligations change. The date at the top shows when it was last revised. Material changes will be announced on this page.
